Software tuning for Shimano EP801
This product cannot be shipped; the tuning is programmed on-site at our location in Wagna!
We offer professional software tuning for e-bikes with Shimano EP801 drive:
Speed limit up to 32 km/h or 45 km/h
Correct speed display
Tuning always active
Compatible with Shimano firmware version 4.4.2
Also suitable for RS 60 Nm.
The bike can be brought to us by appointment and picked up the next day.
There are two software tuning variants for Shimano EP801:
up to 32 km/h and a version up to 45 km/h.
The 32km/h version is recommended for the fullys, as they don't have the gear ratio to go faster anyway.
We recommend not making any new software updates after tuning. It cannot be guaranteed that a tuning will still work properly after an update because it was programmed for the current version and for older versions.
Legal and safety information / product liability
Operating the e-bike on public roads is no longer permitted after tuning. Use is only permitted on private property or designated test and race tracks.
Damage caused in connection with the operation of the e-bike will no longer be covered by private liability insurance.
Liability, warranty and guarantee claims against the dealer or manufacturer of the e-bike expire or are severely limited.
When operated at higher speeds, the e-bike is subject to higher mechanical stress for which it is not designed. This creates additional security risks.
You carry out the tuning at your own risk. The manufacturer assumes no liability for damages related to the operation of the device.
